We collect information necessary to operate our business, including to facilitate our B2B directory business and maintain a high-trust environment. This information includes:

• Account Information: Name, Business name, State in Australia job title, Australian Business Number (ABN), email, and an Australian (+61) phone number.

• Verification Data: Australian Business Number (ABN), public registry data, technical credentials (such as a GitHub username, Hugging Face profile, or portfolio URL), LinkedIn profile URL and proof of Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance (where applicable for "Verified" AI Specialists).

• Hurdle Data: Company name, project descriptions, budgets, and specific operational details related to the Hurdles posted by Industry Leaders. Note: Users are explicitly instructed not to upload proprietary IP, sensitive information, corporate databases, or system passwords.

• Communication Data: We temporarily store and monitor logs from our internal text-based messaging system.

• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and usage data collected via cookies for platform optimisation.

• Financial Data: We do not collect or store credit card or bank account details on our servers. All payments are securely processed off-site via Stripe Connect.

We use your data for the primary purpose of connecting users of the Platform. This includes:

• Verifying your identity, geographic location, and business status.

• Displaying information posted by a business ("Hurdles") to verified users ("AI Specialists").

• Facilitating the introductory text-based messaging channel following a successful connection between users of the Platform ("Unlock").

• Monitoring internal chat logs for platform safety and quality assurance.

• Improving our platform through internal analytics and AI-driven matching.

We share your information as follows:

Between Industry Leaders and AI Specialists — Hurdle Unlock: When an AI Specialist pays the Unlock Fee of $55 AUD to unlock an Industry Leader's Hurdle, the following information is disclosed to the AI Specialist:

• Industry Leader's Full Name • Industry Leader's Business Name • Industry Leader's Industry and Business Size • Industry Leader's Phone Number • Industry Leader's Email Address • Full Hurdle description including operational challenge details, hours per week lost and team members affected • Industry Leader's State

Simultaneously, the following information about the AI Specialist is disclosed to the Industry Leader:

• AI Specialist's Full Name • AI Specialist's Business Name • AI Specialist's Area of Expertise • AI Specialist's Industry Expertise • AI Specialist's Phone Number • AI Specialist's Email Address • AI Specialist's State • AI Specialist's Verified Status where applicable

Upon a successful Hurdle unlock, an internal messaging channel is automatically created between the Industry Leader and the AI Specialist, enabling direct communication within the platform. Both parties consent to this disclosure by registering on BizCollab and either posting a Hurdle as an Industry Leader or unlocking a Hurdle as an AI Specialist.

New Hurdle Notifications: When an Industry Leader posts a Hurdle, the following limited information is shared with registered AI Specialists who have selected matching industry expertise: the Hurdle title, category, industry, state, hours per week lost and team members affected. Full contact details and the complete Hurdle description are only disclosed after an AI Specialist pays the Unlock Fee as described above.

Verification of AI Specialists: When an AI Specialist submits credentials for verification including their LinkedIn Profile URL, Technical Portfolio or GitHub URL and Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate, this information is reviewed by BizCollab administrators for the purpose of granting the Verified Specialist badge. This information is not shared with Industry Leaders or any third parties beyond platform administrators.

Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party infrastructure providers who assist in operating the platform, including but not limited to Stripe for payment processing and Base44 for platform hosting and data storage. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements and are only permitted to use your data for the specific services they provide to BizCollab.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by Australian law or to protect our legal rights.

Secondary purposes: We may also use personal information for direct marketing including newsletters, platform updates and promotional materials relating to the Platform. We will not sell your personal information to a third party for marketing. You can opt out of receiving our marketing communications by following the opt out procedure in this policy.

De-personalised trend data: We may aggregate and anonymise information contained in a Hurdle to identify broader industry trends, improve the Platform or publish general insights about AI adoption in Australian businesses.

We may use AI algorithms to recommend Hurdles to AI Specialists or to assist in verifying ABN data.

Human Oversight: Our AI tools assist in platform efficiency but do not make final "eligibility" or account-ban decisions without human review.

Your Rights: You may request information about how our AI systems have processed your data or request a human review of an automated decision.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Protection: The BizCollab Platform relies on enterprise-grade infrastructure provided by our SaaS hosting partners, utilising encryption both at rest and in transit.

Retention: We retain your personal information only for as long as it is required for our business functions or as mandated by Australian law.

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correction: Request that we update or correct inaccurate information.

Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time via the "unsubscribe" link in our emails.
