Refund & Credit Policy
This policy outlines when and how we provide account refunds for unlock fees (“Hurdle Unlock”).
The Provider: BizCollab Pty Ltd ACN 694 704 919 (referred to as "we," "us," or "our").
"Platform" refers to the BizCollab website and all associated services hosted by the Provider.
The Users: Established Australian businesses posting on the Platform ("Industry Leaders") and independent technology professionals ("AI Specialists") (referred to as “you” and “your”).
A “Hurdle" refers to the specific operational bottleneck, project description, or technical requirement posted on the Platform by an Industry Leader.
The BizCollab Guarantee
We strive to ensure that every Hurdle posted on the BizCollab platform (the “Platform”) represents a genuine business bottleneck from a legitimate Australian entity. The Hurdle Unlock grants an AI Specialist access to the full technical brief and opens a secure internal messaging channel within the Platform to submit a pitch. Because a user pays for immediate access to digital information and introductory facilitation, all sales are final.
However, we may offer an account credit equivalent to the Hurdle Unlock in specific instances where the listing does not meet our Platform standards (“Refund”).
Eligibility for Account refund
We will provide a 100% Refund for a Hurdle unlock strictly under the following circumstances:
Fraudulent Hurdle: The business listed explicitly denies posting the Hurdle, or the listing is proven to be a fabricated or unauthorised account.
Duplicate Lead: You have previously unlocked the exact same Hurdle from the same business through the BizCollab platform within the last 30 days.
Technical Failure: A proven system error on the BizCollab platform prevented your initial internal message or pitch from being delivered to the Industry Leader.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds are not issued under the following circumstances:
Lack of Response: The Industry Leader views your pitch but chooses not to reply, engage, or move forward.
Project Competition: You initiate a conversation but the business chooses to hire another specialist or solve the Hurdle internally.
Change of Mind: You unlock the Hurdle and subsequently decide not to submit a pitch, or you realise the project constraints do not align with your preferences.
Incorrect Skill Match: You unlock a Hurdle that requires specific software integrations, skills, or certifications outside of your current capabilities.
How to Lodge a Dispute
All disputes must be lodged within 48 hours of unlocking the Hurdle.
Please select "Get in Touch" on the Contact Us page to lodge a dispute.
Provide a brief description of the problem (e.g., "Fraudulent listing" or "System error preventing message delivery").
Our team will verify the claim within 1-2 business days. If verified, the Refund will be applied to your account immediately.
Australian Consumer Law & Limitation of Liability
Our digital introductory services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
However, because BizCollab provides services strictly for business purposes, to the maximum extent permitted by Section 64A of the ACL, our liability for any failure to comply with a statutory guarantee is strictly limited to one of the following (at our sole discretion):
- The resupply of the digital introductory service (e.g., providing a Lead Credit); or
- The refund of the specific "Unlock Fee" paid for that specific service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizCollab explicitly disclaims and excludes all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage (including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising from your use of the Platform, the failure of our introductory services, or the outcome of any off-platform project engagements.
